As part of its SID celebrations Insafe, the European internet safety awareness network, has launched a quiz for children aged 9-15 years old throughout Europe and beyond. The quiz reflects this year’s theme of ‘Think before you post!’. For further information visit www.saferinternet.org.
Insafe Safer Internet Day Poster Competition

Insafe is encouraging 5-8 year olds across Europe and the world to celebrate Safer Internet Day 2010. Children can take part by creating some artwork on the theme of ‘How do you see yourself and the internet? Is it a good, safe place to be?’.
Simple drawings, posters and comic strips are welcome – be creative!
Please note participants should be under the age of 9 on 1st April 2010.
All entries along with an entry form completed by a teacher, parent or guardian should be sent to the CEOP Centre and must be received by 9th March 2010.

Privacy
Top tips for protecting privacy when
creating your competition entry:
- Do not include the personal details of yourself or others in your presentation e.g. full name, home address, email address, mobile phone number etc.
- Take care not to display information about your school, sports club or youth group e.g. your school’s name, emblem, uniform or tie.
- Think about what is in the background when creating your entry, is there anything that may reveal the personal details of yourself or others?
- Make sure you have permission from everyone taking part.
